A mature member of the team who can still pull off some top saves, having saved a number of penalties. Last season several games were missed due to a hip injury but now back to full fitness and in good form, she is looking forward to the new season and the challenge that comes with it.

Versatile Sarah has played in attacking and defensive positions including Centre Midfield, Full Back and as a Forward. With an agile approach and high work rate she has grown and developed physically as a player and gained ‘off-the ball’ intelligence.
Sarah has previously been awarded ‘Young Player’ and ‘Players Player’ and also carries out the role as sub-committee secretary.

One of the longest serving players at the club and still only 25!, experienced Lindsey is a dynamic and versatile player who has played most positions on the pitch. A gritty player not afraid to go in hard with tackles and what she lacks in height, she makes up in speed and power. Her attitude, dedication and commitment are second to none.

Michelle is a strong tackling centre midfielder who can play a fantastic long ball. She consistently puts in an honest performance and what she lacks in pace she makes up with her ability on the ball. With an eye for goal, she scored her first on her debut against Accrington Stanley LFC and has continued to score at least 5 goals every season. Michelle has previously undertaken the roles as captain, manager and secretary.

Confident team player Kim often takes control of the back line, helping everyone work as a unit. With fantastic spacial awareness, her team mates always know what’s going on around them. Strong on the ball both on the ground and in the air, she is not afraid to go in hard for tackles and throw herself in front of shots.

Melissa is a confident, versatile player who can naturally adapt her football skills to suit the position of play. Her fantastic goal scoring record and passion for the game has won her ‘young player’, ‘most improved player’ and ‘top scorer’ awards during her time at the club.

Born in the football mad North East, Sarah is an exeptionally gifted and experienced player, who has fantastic on the ball skills, great stamina and continues to be a real threat in midfield. Sarah holds a good goal scoring record and in her first season achieved ‘player of the season for the league’ and was made Club Captain in September 2008. Unfortunately due to a knee injury she has been on and off the team for the last few seasons but now back to full fitness, she is ready for action.

Known as Charley, loves her football and enjoys playing for Burnley Borrowdale United.
A dedicated and highly competitive player who loves getting forward and creating chances for her team mates, who has also contributed with some well taken goals over the last 4 seasons.
Charley was voted most improved player in her first season with the club and topped that in 2007/2008 season by being named player of the season.

An experienced keeper and relatively new to the team, determined Steph wants to grow and develop as a player, despite a previous injury putting her out of action for a while. Now fully fit with an appetite to show her full potential, she is ready to take herself to the next level.
