In a game that always threatened to boil over, United hit the Blackburn side on the break after soaking up a lot of pressure, despite losing our keeper early on through injury, debutant Chris Green performed miracles to keep there strikers at bay.
Scott Threlfall was left as lone front man for this game and despite missing a chance early on he put united in front early in the second half after Ash Williams had drawn United level.
Despite Mill Hill looking the stronger team and equalising near the end of the game the spoils went to United as Williams popped up again to score his second of the game and win it for United in the closing minutes. Mill Hill players and supporters where not happy and made there feelings known to the referee throughout the game. This is a good three points for United and should gear them up for a less than tough month of fixtures.
